The Fight
These images are of the Fiesta de San Miguel Arcángel, celebrated in honor of the town’s patron saint, and encapsulate the vibrant spirit of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
ALBORADA (the fight) celebrates the triumph of the Archangel Michael over Lucier. The fireworks and pyrotechnics start at 3:00 a.m. and last for over an hour. By the end of it, everyone is covered with ash.
